THE RUNNING NANNY....

Its an enthusiastic feeling starting a blog but maintaining it takes a conscious effort, one should always remember the purpose for which a thing is created, that purpose fuels passion and that keeps one going even when the chips are down. we are in a country where reading isn't a culture but entertainment is, i must confess i spend more time on instagram than on the daily newspapers... hahhahahahahahaha funny isn't it, but i am guilty as suggested.

My sister told me her favorite nanny moved out despite all efforts to secure her assistance, she just found a way to spoil the investment. i also learnt that a customer hired a nanny on fri and lost her on mon (she ran away with valuables); by the way i am a SCIENTIST by profession and a DAYCARE SPECIALIST by chance...i do not intend to leave one job for the other...i enjoy them both.

I offer daycare services to Busy parents so it is my duty to care for infants and toddlers. while i ensure their learning environment is serene and safe...i am particularly concerned about their HOMELIFE... i do wish a nanny could explain to me their own side of the story, WHY DO NANNIES KEEP RUNNING AWAY?

what is it about a home that never makes them stay, why do parents trust one nanny today and totally lose trust for them the next day? is it a case of inferiority complex versus superiority complex? do nannies deserve equal rights and opportunities as the wards they care for or is it about the duty alone? why are nannies tagged as witches, thieves and careless nobodies when things go wrong? am i defending the nannies or is there something i need to understand?

Celebrating a Milestone. ...

Where have we been? Thats a good question. ....well, building the BLOSSOM HAVEN brand I suppose....in this pleasant month of September BLOSSOM HAVEN celebrated a milestone....

Our adorable Shemilore Nicholas clocked ONE....being our first celebrant we did it in great style...he's a great boy with the intelligence of a president...many more years of joy and blessings.  View photos from the grand celebration.

SAFETY WEEKEND....the Fire we dread

FIRE!!! FIRE!!! FIRE!!!!.... this is not a crusade moment....pls dont get it twisted...this is the Adrenaline moment we all dread....A FIRE OUTBREAK

In February,  a friend lost his cousin to gas explosion...let me give you the full gist....seems like the gas was exhausted because she could perceive the gas fumes but saw no light. ...so she bent her head to see if the light would come on and BAMMMM!!!!!  all up in her face, dress and all....weeks later she gave up....what a sad story.

I know most people would be like GOD FORBID. ..yea I say that a lot yet...we need to protect ourselves and loved ones from the seemlingly harmless lookin fire... Babies must be protected too....at all times...please get used to the following precautions

*Equip your home with a FIRE EXTINGUISHER, SMOKE ALARM & FIRE BLANKET.
*NEVER light a candle unattended
*TURN OFF all electrical items at night.
*NEVER leave matches and lighters where children can touch them.
*INSTALL your gas cylinder OUTSIDE the kitchen area.
*WORK OUT what you would do if there were a fire and you were with a child.
*WORK OUT A PLAN TO ESCAPE from your home if there was a fire in the kitchen.
*REMEMBER. ..ALWAYS KEEP CHILDREN SAFE FROM FIRE.

Wow...its such a great year.....January started with amazing progress for me and everyone i know....celebrities aren't left out either......The Idibia's, Governor Rochas and Toyin lawani welcomed their bundle of joy this January. find stories and pictures below.

Yay! Annie and Tuface idibia welcomed a daughter on Jan 3^rd 2014. She gave birth in an LA hospital. Mother and child are said to be doing great. The couple got married in march 2013  and already have a 5 year old daughter together, Isabella. Big congrats to them.

Governor Rochas Okorocha, has become a grandfather for the first time after his first daughter, Uloma Okorocha Nwosu, welcomed twins. Uloma married Uche Nwosu, a serving commissioner in her father's cabinet. The twins with Uloma's siblings above. Uloma Nwosu is the Director General of her father’s foundation, Rochas Okorocha Foundation while her husband is the Honorable Commissioner for Land Survey and Urban planning in Imo State.

The Tiannahstyling CEO, Toyin Lawani has finally left hospital after giving birth to her new bundle of joy on Wednesday January 1st.
